Charles “Chuck” Allen Rueckert

Obituary

Charles Allen Rueckert was born on October 25, 1960 in Litchfield, Minnesota. He was the son of Glenn and Bernice (Kahmeyer) Rueckert.  Charles was baptized as an infant, and was later confirmed in his faith as a youth, both at Immanuel Lutheran Church (now Trinity Lutheran) in Grove City, Minnesota.  Charles received his education in Grove City, and was a graduate of the Grove City High School (now ACGC) Class of 1979.   He furthered his education at St. Cloud State University and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Speech Communications.

Charles lived in Grove City most of his life and later moved to Hutchinson in 2005.  Charles was employed by Jay Malone Motors in Hutchinson where he was in Sales and Finance.  He worked until he was no longer able. Charles was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and was also a member in the Litchfield Community Theatre prior to moving to Hutchinson.

Charles enjoyed anything to do with cooking.  He liked to watch any cooking channel on TV and also enjoyed trying new recipes out on the grill. Charles loved theatre and was involved in many of the Litchfield Community Theatre productions, but his favorite was The Wizard of Oz where he played the Cowardly Lion.   He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Charles passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at his home in Hutchinson, at the age of 55 years.

He will be dearly missed.  Blessed be his memory.

Sister, Glenda Nelson and her husband, Ernie of Hutchinson, MN,
Brother, Dale Rueckert and his wife, Roxanne of Litchfield, MN;
Sisters-In-Law,  Ila Rueckert of Litchfield, MN,
                              Pat Rueckert of Waconia, MN;
Many Nieces, Nephews and other relatives and friends.

Charles is preceded in death by his:  Parents, Glenn and Bernice Rueckert, Brothers, Frank Rueckert, Ronnie Rueckert and Robert Rueckert; Sister, Gloria Rueckert.
