Christian Dobratz says
Iverne I am so sad to hear of “Charlie’s” passing. Chuck was a very caring and genuine person and I enjoyed each year catching up with him at the annual Cop Fishing tournament at Ringstrom’s cabin. Many years working together and playing softball for HPD. Chuck always greeted you with a smile and was very intentional when asking you how things were going in your life. In later years, he always made it a point to reach out to me on his birthday as we discovered we shared the same birthday. I know the past couple of years he found it more and more difficult to breath and I do find comfort knowing that he no longer is struggling to breathe fresh air. Keeping you, your family, and your entire extended family in my thoughts and prayers. Blessed are the peacemakers…

Christy and I offer our deepest condolences. I will always remember him dropping by the PD, playing softball, and the great times at the Ringstrom Fishing Tourney. May he rest in peace – we are diminished.

I learned how to be a “Top Shelf” Bailiff under the direction of Chuck. I also learned how to make coffee for specific Judges. He was a wonderful coworker, and it was a pleasure to work with him. God’s peace to his family .
