Service Information
Cheryl Lohrenz, age 63, of Hutchinson, Minnesota, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 3, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at Faith Lutheran Church in Hutchinson. Interment will be in the Oakland Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 2, 2017, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. and Friday, March 3, 2017, from 8:00 to 9:00 A.M. at the Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel and will continue one hour prior to the service at the Church.
Memorials are preferred.
Obituary
Cheryl Ann Lohrenz was born on September 3, 1953, in Sauk Centre, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Audry Kenneth and Jeanette (Raveling) Fauskee. Cheryl grew up in Brooten, Minnesota on a farm until she was in third grade then moved to Hutchinson. Cheryl was baptized as an infant in September of 1953 at Big Grove Church in Brooten, Minnesota, and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth at Faith Lutheran Church in Hutchinson. She received her education in Hutchinson, and was a graduate of the Hutchinson High School Class of 1971.
In July of 1977, Cheryl was united in marriage to Wes Lohrenz at Faith Lutheran Church in Hutchinson. They raised two daughters, Sheila and Sarah and resided in Hutchinson.
Cheryl was employed at Hillyard Inc. in Hutchinson as an administrative assistant for many years. She also worked as an administrative assistant at Agri Trading Corporation in Hutchinson. She retired in June of 2016. Cheryl was a longtime member of Faith Lutheran Church.
Cheryl enjoyed reading suspense books and taking motorcycle trips including Colorado, Wyoming, Arkansas, Montana, and Wisconsin. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, the “Thursday Sisters”, the “71 Hotties”, and many other friends. Shortly before her passing, Cheryl spent an unforgettable weekend with her girls and her son-in-law.
Cheryl was diagnosed with non small cell lung cancer in October of 2015 and fought a courageous battle. Cheryl passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, at the age of 63 years.

Brother, Bruce Fauskee and his wife, Bonnie, of Powell, WY;
Nephews, Bret Fauskee and his wife, Lisa, of Powell, WY,
Bryce Fauskee of Powell, WY;
Great Nephews, Cole Fauskee and Carter Fauskee;
Many other relatives and friends.
Cheryl is preceded in death by her Father, Audry Kenneth Fauskee.

Cheryl’s Family-
We are shocked and very saddened to hear of Cheryl’s passing, had no idea she was sick.? Cheryl was a kind and great person to be around and have many wonderful memories with her when she spent time in Park Rapids with all the family. She will be missed!
