I was so saddened to hear of Clarence’s passing. I spent many hours at their home hearing stories and looking at flower with him and Lorna. I loved all the history he shared. He was a great man and the love he had for Lorna is a love story anyone would hope for. He will be missed by many. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. He got to spend Valentines day with the love of his life in heaven.

We enjoyed Clarence and Lorna’s cheerful company, hen they attended our Litchfield High School, Class of 1952, class reunions. We reminisced about the fun days in high school and their present lives. Lorna was so beautiful, smart, and gifted in many ways.(she was one of our home coming Queen candidates in 1951).The life they shared together for so many years was one of joyful, spiritual, and total love for one another. We were so blessed to have known them and know that now, they are forever together. With Love and Prayers for their family and friends. Jeanie (Shoultz) Doran, LHS Class of 1952

I have many happy memories at the farm when we were kids playing hide and seek in the barn. Also playing in the woods. Getting the cows out of the South Slew for evening milking. Staying at the farm for a week and riding the Greyhound Bus back home. I remember that Clarence liked to talk about Grove City and always had an answer if you asked about Grove City history. Betty and I were saddened to hear of Clarence’s passing. Phil Settergren
