Clarice Gasow, age 86, of Gaylord passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at Golden Hearts Senior Living in Arlington.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, October 14, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at American Lutheran Church in Gaylord with interment in Gaylord City Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 14, 2017, from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service.

Obituary
Clarice Lydia Gasow was born on March 28, 1931, in Henderson, Minnesota. She was the daughter of August and Lydia (Lange) Schultz. Clarice was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth. She received her education in Henderson and was a graduate of the Henderson High School Class of 1949.
On June 6, 1954, Clarice was united in marriage to Fredric Gasow at Centennial Church in Henderson. After their marriage, the couple resided in Gaylord. She was a loving mother and homemaker. They were blessed with four children. Clarice and Fredric shared 45 years of marriage before he passed away on September 14, 1999.
Clarice was an active member of American Lutheran Church in Gaylord, and the Quilting Club, Circle, Book Club and Prayer Chain.
Clarice enjoyed baking, especially lemon meringue pies and caramel bars, gardening, embroidering, and crossword puzzles. She never missed an episode of “Wheel Of Fortune” and “The Price Is Right.” Clarice cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
When she needed assistance with her daily care, Clarice became a resident of Golden Hearts Senior Living in Arlington and passed away there on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at the age of 86 years. Blessed be her memory.

Clarice was preceded in death by her Parents, August and Lydia Schultz; Husband, Fredric Gasow; Siblings, Inez and David Gast, Lorna and Gene Kelsay, Floyd and Audrey Schultz; Nephew, Gary Schultz; and Brother-In-Law, Marvin Otto.
