Clinton Robeck age 98, of Gaylord, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016, at Oak Terrace Health Care Center in Gaylord.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, March 8th, 10:30 A.M. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gaylord with interment in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.

Obituary
Clinton Leo Robeck was born on February 11, 1918, in St. Peter, Minnesota. He was the son of Louis and Anna (Hanson) Robeck. Clinton had three brothers, Gordon, Dale, and Merrill and three sisters, Hope, Levka, and Thelma. He lived on a farm near Kasota, Minnesota. Clinton was baptized as an infant at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in St. Peter and was later confirmed in his faith as a youth at the English Lutheran Church in St. Peter. He attended a country school when he was young and was a 1937 graduate of the Kasota High School. Clinton enjoyed roller skating and ice skating. Clinton’s favorite holiday was Christmas.
On September 15, 1941, Clinton was united in marriage to Caroline Haberlein at St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in St. Peter. After their marriage, the couple resided in Danves, Minnesota. When he was discharged from the Army, the couple moved to Grace City, North Dakota, where Clinton managed a 1,200 acre ranch until 1953. In 1953, they moved to New Rockford, North Dakota, and then in 1954 to Litchfield, Minnesota. He was employed as a truck driver, cement worker and the Soil Conservation Service, retiring in 1978. After he retired, Clinton continued to work mowing lawns and his wife, Caroline, did alterations. Clinton and Caroline shared 62 years of marriage before Caroline passed away on April 10, 2004. They had one son, Guy, who was adopted. Clinton has two granddaughters, Carol Lynn and Lisa Lynn.
Clinton entered active military service on July 13, 1942, and served his country in the United States Army. He received the Philippine Liberation Ribbon, the Asiatic-Pacific Theater Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. Clinton was Honorably Discharged on December 27, 1945.
Clinton was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gaylord.
Clinton enjoyed reading books, visiting relatives, traveling and dancing. He also enjoyed motorcycle riding and even went to Sturgis. Clinton and his family would visit relatives every Sunday. He enjoyed traveling to California, the East Coast, Florida and many National Parks. He loved spending time with his son, Guy and Clinton’s special friend, Agnes.
Clinton’s life lesson is to always be a gentleman and treat women well. Something special about Clinton is that he was a real gentleman.
When he needed assistance with his daily care, Clinton became a resident of Oak Terrace Health Care Center on March 10, 2015, and passed away there on Thursday, March 03, 2016, at the age of 98 years. Blessed be his memory.

Clinton was preceded in death by his Parents, Louis and Anna Robeck; Wife, Caroline Robeck; Brothers, Merle Robeck, Gordon Robeck, and Dale Robeck; Sisters, Thelma (Bill) Heilman, Hope (Archie) Menk and Levka (John) Heilman; and Granddaughter, Carol Lynn.
