Service Information
Craig Lee Ziesmer, age 51, of Glencoe, formerly of New Prague, Minnesota, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2023, at his home.
Memorial Service will be held Friday, April 14, 2023, 1:00 P.M., at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Bismarck Township, Winthrop, Minnesota with interment in the church cemetery at a later date.
Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Friday, April 14, 2023, 12:00 to 1:00 P.M., one hour prior to the service at the church.
Obituary
Craig Lee Ziesmer was born on November 2, 1971, in Arlington, Minnesota, the son of Gordon and Karen (Evenson) Ziesmer. Craig was baptized as an infant on December 5, 1971, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Green Isle, Minnesota, and was later confirmed in his faith as a youth on May 3, 1987, at Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Prague. He received his education in New Prague.
Craig was a hard worker. He was currently employed by Neubarth Lawn Care & Landscaping in Glencoe, Minnesota where he has worked for the past ten years, manning the bait shop.
He enjoyed fishing, listening to rock music and attending rock concerts, and checking out local restaurants. Craig treasured the time he spent with family and friends and enjoyed attending family gatherings.
Craig passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at his home in Glencoe, Minnesota at the age of 51 years.

Father, Gordon Ziesmer, and Stepmother, Geraldine of AL;
Brother, Paul Ziesmer of Granite Falls, MN;
Stepsister, Sheri Williams of AL;
Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Other relatives, and Friends.
Craig was preceded in death by his Mother, Karen Kuehn; Grandparents, Charles and Alice Ziesmer and Joe and Martha Evenson; Uncle, Marvin Ziesmer, Dale Ziesmer, Marlyn Evenson, and Loren Evenson.
