Dale Roth, age 85, of Hutchinson, Minnesota, and formerly of Plato, Minnesota, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016, at his home in Prairie Senior Cottages in Hutchinson, Minnesota.
Graveside Services will be held Thursday, January 21, 2016, 1:00 P.M., at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ Cemetery in Plato, Minnesota.
Obituary
Dale Casper Roth was born on February 1, 1930, in Plato, Minnesota. He was the son of Harry and Hilda (Klancke) Roth. Dale was baptized as an infant on March 9, 1930, by Rev. Otto Eyrich and was later confirmed in his faith as a youth on April 2, 1944, by Rev. Bunge at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Plato, Minnesota. He received his education in Plato & Glencoe, Minnesota, and was a graduate of the Glencoe High School Class of 1948. Dale served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Dale was a lifelong residence of Plato. He first worked at the Plato Meat Market and when a bid was open for the Post Master position in Plato, Dale applied and got the job. Dale was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Plato, Minnesota.
Dale was a man of few words but made many travels, having visited places around the world. He enjoyed nature and golfing at the Glencoe Country Club.
Dale passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2016, at his home at Prairie Senior Cottages in Hutchinson, Minnesota, at the age of 85 years, 11 months and 15 days.

Nephews, Nieces, other relatives and many friends.
