Service Information
Dale R. Hanson, age 82, of Franklin passed away Thursday, October 24, 2019, at the Fairfax Community Home in Fairfax.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, October 29, 2019, 11:00 A.M. at Central Lutheran Church in Camp Township, Renville County, Minnesota, with interment in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Bandon Township, Renville County, Minnesota.
Visitation will be Monday, October 28, 2019, from 4:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. at Hauser-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Fairfax and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
Obituary
Dale R. Hanson was born on November 11, 1936, in Bandon Township, Renville County, Minnesota. He was the son of Ole A. and Louise C. (Olson) Hanson. Dale was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in his faith as a youth, both at Zion Lutheran Church in Bandon Township. He received his education at country school in Bandon Township and was a graduate of the Franklin High School. Dale was a lifelong farmer.
Dale was a member of Central Lutheran Church, Camp Township, Renville County, Minnesota, and was the current church council president. He was also a member of the Lion’s Club in Franklin for many years.
Dale enjoyed traveling all over the world, fishing, 4 wheeling in the deserts of Arizona, Colorado and Wisconsin, and his Missionary trips to Africa. He cherished the time he spent with his children, especially his grandchildren.
When he needed assistance with his daily care, Dale became a resident of the Fairfax Community Home and passed away there on Thursday, October 24, 2019, at the age of 82 years. Blessed be his memory.
Dale is survived by his:
Daughter, Tamara Hanson of Nashville, TN;
Son, Terry Hanson and his wife, Mary of Blaine, MN;
Grandchildren, Max, Ozzie, and Betty Hanson;
Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.
Dale was preceded in death by his Parents, Ole and Louise Hanson; Sisters, Corrine Posz and Marlys Lenz.
