David James Moller

Obituary

David James Moller was born on June 4, 1962, in Hutchinson, Minnesota.  He was the son of James and Janice (Lamp) Moller.  David was baptized as an infant on June 10, 1962, by Rev. Albert Slechta at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Silver Lake, Minnesota, and was later confirmed in his faith as a youth on March 18, 1979, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted, Minnesota.  He received his education in Glencoe and Hutchinson, Minnesota, graduating with the Hutchinson High School Class of 1982. 

After graduating, David made his home at Clara Doerr-Lindley Hall Residence in Minneapolis, Minnesota, until 1992 when he moved to Hutchinson, Minnesota.  While living in Minneapolis, he worked as a restaurant attendant in Mexican or pizza restaurants.  Later he worked for Adult Training and Habilitation Center in Hutchinson.  David loved going to church and especially eating out afterwards.  He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted, Minnesota, and St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Hutchinson.

David was a kind and outgoing individual that loved to give hugs and could remember everyone by their first names.  His passion was dinosaurs, storms and weather, reading every book that he could to his level.  David could be considered a professional with the metro transit and could navigate around Minneapolis.  He enjoyed food, Star Trek and Sci-Fi movies and sports including the Minnesota Vikings and Timberwolves.  About a month ago, David took a trip to Chicago, which had been one of the highlights in his life.  He loved spending time with his family and friends. 

David passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at his home with Mykkanen Services in Hutchinson, Minnesota, at the age of 55 years, 3 months and 23 days.

Brother, Peter “Pete” Moller and his special friend, Linda Nowak, of Lester Prairie, MN;
Niece, Jessica Moller and her special friend, Alex Hoffman, of Sauk Centre, MN;
Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends at Mykkanen.

David is preceded in death by his Mother, Janice “Jan” Moller; Grandparents.
