My condolences for your loss. I was one of David’s first playmates back in Strout when we were about 6 to 10 or 11 years old. My name was Donna Brynteson at that time and I lived much of the time with my grandparents in Strout. I turned 86 last May, so we were the same age.
I knew Knute and Anna well and was best friends in later years with Vonnie and Bud Miller. The last time I saw David was possibly at Vonnie’s funeral. I now live in Peoria AZ.
I’m sure this all seems a little odd to you, but I will always remember David as that young boy. He was a really good friend over 70 years ago.

I knew David 80 years ago in Strout. We were playmates as little children when I stayed with my grandparents Fred and Grace Ross. Knute snd Anna were butter makers at the creamery in Strout. I have fond memories of the Carlson family. I was good friends with Bud and Vonnie in later years.
I now live in Peoria AZ I had not seen David I suppose since Vonnie’s funeral many years ago.
I am David’s age, 86.
