Delbert “Del” C. Callantine, age 59, husband of Denise, of Hutchinson, Minnesota, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025, at Hutchinson Health in Hutchinson.
Celebration of Life was held Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. at Art’s Place in Hutchinson.
Obituary
Delbert Claude Callantine was born on August 21, 1965, in Bozeman, Montana. He was the son of Eva “Kay” Callantine. Del was a graduate of the Hellgate High School in Missoula, Montana. Class of 1985.
Del furthered his education at Ridgewater Community College in Machining & Robot Technology and Automation where he received an AAS Degree in both fields.
Del entered active military service in the United States Navy, June 19, 1985, in Butte, Montana, at age 20, where he served his country during Desert Storm and the Global War on Terror. He retired after twenty years of service with a rank of AS1 (AW) “Aviation Support Equipment Petty Officer First Class (Air Warfare Specialist)”. Where he received extensive achievements and medals including; good conduct medals (6), Southwest Asia service medals (2), Sea Service Deployment ribbons (4), NATO Kuwait Liberation medal, Expert Rifleman medal, Expert Pistol Shot medal, National Defense Service medal (2).
On May 27, 1988, Del was united in marriage to Denise Robins in Royal Oak, Michigan. The marriage was blessed with three children, Karl (Naples, Italy), Remington (Jacksonville, FL), and Triston (Portsmouth , VA). Del and Denise resided in Norfolk, Virginia, until 2005 when they moved to Hutchinson, Minnesota after they both served 20 years in the United States Navy. They shared 36 years of marriage.
Del enjoyed hunting, Renaissance Festivals, and riding his Dyna Wide Glide Harley Davidson. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren and friends.

Many other relatives and friends.
Del is preceded in death by his Mother, Eva “Kay” Callantine; Father, David (D-Dub) Williams; Father in-law, Albert Forman.
