Ronnie & Terri Furr says
Dennis was an amazing friend and always ready to help us in our music business. In fact, he was a huge help to everyone he came in contact with.
Dennis was a hard worker, kind hearted, friendly, always up beat and had a great sense of humor.
We’ll never forget all the times Dennis and Barb helped us at all the music gigs we played in the Valley (South Texas) to the Winter Texans.
They both were great supporters.
We had so much fun with them and many others in our travels.
Our hearts go out to the family and friends of Dennis.

Barb and family,
We felt privileged to have a chance for our paths to cross at Sunshine Park. We still think of all the Ronnie Furr shows we attended together and then the eating out afterwards. Good memories of you both!
Please accept our sympathy on this sad occasion.

To the family of Dennis Hedin I want to extend to you my deepest sympathies. Denny was a year ahead of me in high school and a cherished friend. He was wicked smart and one of the best trumpet players ever in the HS band. I am so sorry to have not seen him in years but his obituary does make me appreciate him for all of the wonderful work in his community. His parents and brother Randy were waiting for him and now watch over all of you and us!
John Ditlefsen says
I always enjoyed working with Dennis at 3M. Skilled, hardworking and always a gentleman.
(The Rev.) Patricia L Holman says
So sad to learn of Dennis’s death. Peace to Barb and all the family. I so enjoyed meeting Barb and Dennis when helping my “other mother” Linda Baum with quilt making in Linda’s Sac City home basement. I had trouble remembering his name so, since he was the only man in the group and spent his time making the 21″ squares in the adjoining room, I dubbed him SQUARE GUY. We all laughed, and the nickname stuck. I will always treasure memories of my time with him and Barb, however brief. God bless!
