Dennis Russenberger, age 80, of Glencoe, Minnesota, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2020, at Glencoe Regional Health Services in Glencoe, Minnesota.
Private Family Memorial Service will be held at the Johnson-McBride Funeral Chapel in Glencoe, Minnesota, with interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Obituary
Dennis Lee Russenberger was born on January 20, 1940, in Martin County, Trimont, Minnesota. He was the son of Robert and Myrtle (Gohr) Russenberger. Dennis was baptized as an infant and later was confirmed in his faith as a youth on July 18, 1954, at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kimball Township, Minnesota. He received his education thru the 8th grade at a country school and received his GED while serving in the military. Dennis entered active military service in the United States Air Force on November 13, 1958, and received an Honorable Discharge on October 30, 1962.
On April 18, 1959, Dennis was united in marriage to Lana Strube at Salem Lutheran Church in Jackson, Minnesota. Dennis and Lana made their home in Omaha, Nebraska; New Ulm, Minnesota, and then settled in LeSueur, Minnesota where Denny worked at the Foundry for many years until his retirement. Their marriage was blessed with two children, Kimberly and Greg. Denny and Lana shared over 46 years of marriage, until Lana passed away on August 12, 2005. Thirteen years ago Dennis moved to Glencoe and bought a home where he lived until moving into Grand Meadows Senior Living.
Dennis enjoyed fishing and gardening. He loved time spent with his dog, Maggie. Dennis also treasured the time spent with family and friends. He was a member of the Healthways Silver Sneakers Fitness program.
Dennis passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2020, at Glencoe Regional Health Services in Glencoe, Minnesota, at the age of 80 years and 27 days.

Dennis was preceded in death by his Parents, Robert and Myrtle Russenberger; Wife, Lana Russenberger; Daughter, Kimberly Russenberger; Infant Son, Greg Russenberger; Brother, John Russenberger; Sister, LaVonne Dunker and her husband, Otto “Buck”; Brother-In-Law, Kenneth Schwarz.
