Obituary

Dolores (Pieper) Schrupp was born on August 5, 1930, in Marystown, Minnesota. She was the daughter of John and Regina (Budde) Pieper and was one of nine children. Dolores was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in her faith as a youth in Marystown. She received her education in Marystown through the 8th Grade.

On November 6, 1955, Dolores was united in marriage to Donaver Schrupp in Marystown, Minnesota. This marriage was blessed with 11 children. They made their family home in Norwood, Minnesota. The couple shared 54 years of marriage when Donaver passed away on October 23, 2010.

Dolores was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker whose faith was the foundation of her life. She was an active member of the Church of the Ascension in Norwood Young America and prayed the rosary daily. A steadfast and faithful prayer warrior, Dolores lovingly supported her family and church community through her prayers.

Dolores held close the meaningful, everyday moments that brought her joy, especially those spent surrounded by her family. She cherished gatherings filled with laughter, from lively holiday celebrations to simple Sunday suppers. A devoted caregiver at heart, Dolores took pride in nurturing those around her, always making time to visit with immediate and extended family. She had a deep appreciation for plants and flowers, reflecting her gentle and attentive nature. In her free time, she enjoyed word puzzles, playing solitaire, and bingo, as well as expressing her creativity through crocheting, needlepoint, and knitting.
