Donald “Don” C. Exsted, age 92, of Glencoe, Minnesota, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at GlenFields Living with Care in Glencoe, Minnesota.
Funeral Service will be held Monday, June 27, 2022, 11:00 A.M. at Christ Lutheran Church in Glencoe, Minnesota, with interment at the Glencoe City Cemetery in Glencoe, Minnesota.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 27, 2022, from 9:00-11:00 A.M., 2 hours prior to the service at Christ Lutheran Church in Glencoe, Minnesota.
Obituary
Donald “Don” Carl Exsted was born on November 26, 1929, in Glencoe, Minnesota. He was the son of Carl and Amelia (Patzold) Exsted. Don was baptized as an infant on December 15, 1929, and later was confirmed in his faith as a youth on May 13, 1943, both at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Glencoe, Minnesota by Rev. Struefert. He attended Glencoe High School in Glencoe, Minnesota.
On July 23, 1947, Don was united in marriage to Betty Jean Larson at a Lutheran Church in Excelsior, Minnesota. Don and Betty made their home in Glencoe, Minnesota. Their marriage was blessed with six children, Collin, Sandra, David, Carl, Craig and Bert. Don and Betty shared over 71 years of marriage.
Don was a farmer for over 40 years, retiring in 1988. Don was an active member of Christ Lutheran Church in Glencoe.
Don enjoyed playing cards, watching TV, singing along to country music and reading his Bible daily. Don treasured the time he spent with his family and friends.
Don passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at GlenFields Living with Care in Glencoe, Minnesota, at the age of 92 years. Blessed be his memory.

Great-Granddaughter, LauRyn Hegland; Brother-in-law, Stanley Larson and his wife, Aurelia; Niece, Carla Larson; Nephew, Dennis Wandrei.
