Donald Seay

Obituary

Donald David Seay was born on October 17, 1937, in Saluda, North Carolina.  He was the son of James B. and Jessie (Southers) Seay. Donald attended school in Ashville, North Carolina. He served his country in the United States Air Force before being honorably discharged.

On October 16, 1958, Donald was united in marriage to Adeline Schauer in Wrightstown, New Jersey.  The couple first made their home in New Jersey before moving to Virginia and in 1974 the couple moved to Minnesota.  They were blessed with three children, Debra, Charlotte and Donald Jr.  They shared 59 years of marriage together. 

Donald worked for the Department of the United States Army and later worked locally at Seneca.  He came from a railroad family and enjoyed all things about trains.  Donald also loved old classic cars, NASCAR, and history.  He will be lovingly remembered for his quick wit.

Donald passed away Friday, January 19, 2018, at his home in Glencoe, at the age of 80 years, 3 months and 2 days.

Kenny Hand and his wife, Shannon, of Springfield, TN;
Brother, Ryal Seay of Falling Waters, WV;
Nephews, Nieces, other relatives and many friends.

Donald is preceded in death by his Parents, James and Jessie Seay, Siblings, Patricia Seay, Dick Seay, Jim Seay, Hugh Seay, Max Seay, Kathleen Seay, Mary Naccaroto, Ruth Adams, Martha Hardin, Margaret Harp.
