Donna Grundahl, age 85, of Norwood Young America, Minnesota, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2015, at the University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, December 19, 2015, 11:00 A.M. at Church in the Maples/United Methodist Church in Norwood Young America, Minnesota.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Friday, December 18, 2015, from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Paul-McBride Funeral Chapel in Norwood Young America, Minnesota, and will continue one hour prior the service at the church on Saturday.
Obituary
Donna June (Keller)Grundahl was born on June 2, 1930, in St. Paul, Minnesota. She was the daughter of William and Geneva (Travers) Keller. Donna was baptized as an infant and later was confirmed in her faith as a youth. She received her education in Spooner, Wisconsin, and was a graduate of the Spooner High School Class of 1948. Donna furthered her education by attending the Minneapolis School of Business.
On April 21, 1951, Donna was united in marriage to James Thomas Grundahl at The Methodist Church in Spooner, Wisconsin. The couple made their home for 63 years in Norwood, Minnesota, after moving there in October of 1952. James and Donna’s marriage was blessed with two sons, William “Bill” and Paul. They shared 46 years of marriage, until James passed away on April 22, 1997, one day after their anniversary. Donna and James started Norwood Electric in 1955.
In addition to being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker, Donna worked at the business they owned and operated, Norwood Electric, which was started in 1955. In 1988, Donna and James incorporated with their sons forming Norwood Electric Inc. Donna was an active member of the United Methodist Church for over 60 years, where she served with the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of the Norwood Young America Fire Department Auxiliary, past matron of Eastern Star and member of the Tonettes, which was a community musical group. Donna would volunteer for the food shelf. She enjoyed her time at their lake home on Lake Manuella. Donna cherished the time spent with family and friends.
Donna passed away on Monday, December 14, 2015, at the University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota, at the age of 85 years, 6 months and 12 days.

Donna is preceded in death by her Parents, William and Geneva Keller; Husband, James Thomas Grundahl; Sisters, Muerial, Opal, Phyllis; Brother, Eugene; and all 7 Brothers-In-Law & Sisters-In-Law.
