Dorothy Ann Schwarzrock, age 92, of Glencoe, Minnesota, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2023, at GlenFields Living With Care in Glencoe, Minnesota.
Private Family Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at the High Island Cemetery in New Auburn, Minnesota.
Obituary
Dorothy Ann Schwarzrock was born on April 10, 1931, in Green Isle, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Allie and Ella (Mackenthun) Dittmer. Dorothy Ann was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in her faith as a youth both at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Helen Township, McLeod County, Minnesota. She received her education at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran parochial school in Helen Township and the Glencoe High School in Glencoe, Minnesota.
On March 27, 1949, Dorothy Ann was united in marriage to Roland “Bud” Schwarzrock at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Helen Township by Reverend Shaller. The couple made their home in Glencoe, Minnesota. Dorothy Ann and Bud’s marriage was blessed with four children, Beverly, Deb, Connie, and Mark. They shared 65 years of marriage together until Bud passed away on March 6, 2015.
Dorothy Ann enjoyed sewing, quilting, and spending time in the kitchen cooking. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Dorothy Ann passed away on August 24, 2023, at GlenFields Living With Care in Glencoe, Minnesota at the age of 92 years. Blessed be her memory.

Connie Larson and her husband, Mark, of Eden Valley, MN;
Grandchildren, Laura Bergmann and her significant other, Jason Alsleben, Sarah Mansager and her husband, Alan, Jessie Stradtmann and her husband, Travis, Jared Warren and his wife, Chrystal, Justin Larson, Kelsey Koepp and her husband, Justin, Guido Iannetti;
14 Great-grandchildren;
Sister-in-law, Diane Dittmer of Glencoe, MN;
Nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Dorothy Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Roland “Bud” Schwarzrock; parents, Allie and Ella Dittmer; Daughter, Beverly Maddox; Son, Mark Schwarzrock; Brother, Howard Dittmer.
