Eldora Pulkrabek, age 77, of Glencoe, Minnesota, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2015, at her home in Glencoe, Minnesota.
Funeral Services were held Wednesday, November 25, 2015, 11:00 A.M. at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Glencoe, Minnesota, with interment following at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2015, from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Johnson-McBride Funeral Chapel in Glencoe, Minnesota, and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
Obituary
Eldora Esther (Lemke) Pulkrabek was born on July 18, 1938, on her parent’s farm near Brownton, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Arnold and Esther (Polzin) Lemke. Eldora was baptized as an infant on July 31, 1938, by Rev. M. Knoll at her parent’s home in Brownton and later was confirmed in her faith as a youth on May 25, 1952, by Rev. M.A. Schulz at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Stewart, Minnesota. She received her education in Brownton graduating with the Brownton High School Class of 1956.
On September 8, 1956, Eldora was united in marriage to Jack Theodore Pulkrabek by Rev. Koepp at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Brownton. Eldora and Jack made their home on the family farm in Rich Valley Township, Minnesota. Their marriage was blessed with four children, Jacqueline, Kristi, Kevin and Kurt. Eldora and Jack shared over 55 years of marriage before Jack passed away on January 22, 2012.
Eldora was a hard working farmwife, and took great pride in working beside her husband on the family farm. She was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Glencoe. The farm was the center of Eldora’s life and she always made sure the farm looked awesome. Eldora enjoyed sewing, canning, listening to polka music, which she felt was the best music ever, playing cards and her favorites were 13 Rummy and Polish Poker, and watching Jeopardy, Wheel Of Fortune and her soaps on television. She loved to attend her monthly coffee clutch with the neighbor ladies, fish fry’s, parades and going out to eat always trying different foods. Eldora was famous for her potato salad at family get togethers and loved her sweets always having cookies, bars or cake available. She treasured her time spent with family.
Eldora passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2015, at her home in Glencoe, Minnesota, at the age of 77 years, 4 months and 3 days.

Eldora is preceded in death by her Parents, Arnold and Esther Lemke; Husband, Jack Pulkrabek; Daughter, Jacqueline Pulkrabek; Son-In-Law, Curtis Carlson; Brother, Arlo Lemke; Father-In-Law & Mother-In-Law, Ted & Lillian Pulkrabek; Brothers-In-Law & Sisters-In-Law, Leatrice Posusta, Robert & Shirley Gillman.
