Elmer G. Telecky, age 63 of Hutchinson passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at Hutchinson Health Hospital in Hutchinson.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at 11:00 A.M. at Faith Lutheran Church in Hutchinson, with interment in the Bohemian National Cemetery in Silver Lake, Minnesota.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
Obituary
Elmer G. Telecky was born on July 15, 1952, in Hutchinson, Minnesota. He was the son of Elmer G. and Agnes (Christensen) Telecky. Elmer was baptized as an infant, and was later confirmed in his faith as a youth, both at Faith Lutheran Church in Hutchinson. He received his elementary education in Hutchinson and was a graduate of the Hutchinson High School Class of 1970.
Elmer resided in the Hutchinson area all of his life. He held employment as a custodian at the Days Inn & Suites (formerly The Victorian Inn) in Hutchinson. He loved farming and enjoyed working on Dean Dostal’s farm. Elmer was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Hutchinson.
Elmer was very friendly and enjoyed visiting with people. He could be found at McCormick’s Family Restaurant more often than not; it was his favorite place to eat. He loved entering his car in Demo Derbies and going to the McLeod County Fair.
Elmer passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at the Hutchinson Health Hospital in Hutchinson, Minnesota at the age of 63 years.

Nieces and Nephews, Mark Karstens and his wife, Kim Kraai, Karla Marshel and her husband, Randy, Susan Oestreich and her husband, Philip, Craig Oestreich and his wife, Angela, Kevin Oestreich and his wife, Holly, and Lori Parker;
13 Great Nieces and Nephews;
Many other relatives and friends.
Elmer is preceded in death by his Parents, Elmer and Agnes Telecky; Sister, Mary Merrick, Nephew, William Merrick.

Sorry to hear about Elmer. I, along with my wife, son, and daughter, became acquainted with Elmer as he was walking “Snickers” along the trail on Jefferson Street some years ago. Our thoughts are with you.
