Florence Delia Lillian Bunting, age 88, of Palmyra Township, Minnesota, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at her home in Palmyra Township.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. at Palmyra Covenant Church in Palmyra Township, Minnesota with interment in the church cemetery.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be held one hour prior to the service at Palmyra Covenant Church.
Obituary
Florence Delia Lillian Bunting was born on December 28, 1932, in Palmyra Township, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Carl and Ella (Kingstrom) Anderson. Florence was baptized as an infant on July 30, 1933, and later confirmed in her faith as a youth. She received her education in Bird Island, Minnesota, and was a graduate of the Bird Island High School with the Class of 1951. Florence furthered her education at the Minneapolis Business College achieving an Associate’s Degree in 1952.
On September 8, 1956, Florence was united in marriage to Charles Bunting at Palmyra Covenant Church. This marriage was blessed with three children, Greg, Gina, and Gwen. Florence and Charles resided in Palmyra Township for many years. They shared 41 years of marriage until the passing of Charles on October 2, 1997.
Florence worked at WCCO as a bookkeeper in Minneapolis for six years. She was then employed as cook for the BOLD school district for 33 years.
She enjoyed baking, taking care of her flowers and garden, and canning for her children. Florence was a member of Palmyra Covenant Church and served as secretary, teacher, and treasurer.
Florence passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at her home in Palmyra Township, Minnesota, at the age of 88 years.

Gwen Bunting of Maple Grove, MN;
Grandchildren, Jacob (Kristen) Slater and Stephanie (Scott) Whitney;
Great Grandchildren, Evelyn and Laura Whitney;
Sister, Phyllis Anderson of Hector, MN;
Many Nephews and Nieces, relatives, and friends.
Florence is preceded in death by her Parents, Carl and Ella Anderson; Husband, Charles Bunting; Siblings, Violet Boyum, Donald Anderson, Hazel Anderson, and Doris Anderson Field; and Infant Sister, Ruth Anderson.
