Gary A. Amborn, age 72, of Brownton, Minnesota, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at his home.
Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at 10:30 A.M. at Oak Grove Cemetery in Brownton.
Obituary
Gary Albert Amborn was born on September 29, 1951, in Morris, Minnesota. He was the son of Albert and Annie (Brandvold) Amborn. Gary was baptized as an infant on November 11, 1951, at his home, and was later confirmed in his faith as a youth on June 12, 1966, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Raymond, Minnesota. He was a graduate of Cokato High School in Cokato, Minnesota. Gary furthered his education at Willmar Area Vocational Technical Institute for Technical Illustration.
On November 23, 1990, Gary was united in marriage to Jan Marie Pautz at Church of Peace in Glencoe, Minnesota. This marriage was blessed with two sons, Timothy and Patrick, and two children from a previous marriage, Keith, and Kimberly. Gary and Jan resided in Brownton, Minnesota. They shared 33 years of marriage.
Gary was employed at Telex (now Bosch) in Glencoe.
Gary especially enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren and friends.
Gary passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at his home in Brownton, at the age of 72 years.
