Gerald Jablinski, age 85, of Chaska and formerly of Waconia, Minnesota, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2016, at The Auburn Manor in Chaska, Minnesota.
Celebration of Life will be held Friday, August, 19, 2016, 5:00 P.M. at the Chanhassen American Legion Post #580 in Chanhassen, Minnesota.
Obituary
Gerald Jablinski was born on January 26, 1931 in Grand Rapids, MI he and his older sister, Mary Louise, were adopted by John and Effie (Pope) Jablinski of Petoskey, MI. Gerry served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict then attended college in San Diego, CA where he graduated with an electrical engineering degree.
Gerry was the co-founder and vice president of HEI, Inc. in Victoria, MN. He was a member at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waconia, MN and a member at the Chanhassen American Legion Post #580.
Gerald enjoyed fishing, being around people and being a resort owner at Tamarac Bay Campgrounds on Lake Miltona. He was a wonderful father, husband and friend. He will be missed. His spirit lives on in all who knew him. “Gerry now knows where he is.” Gerry’s family wished to thank the staff at Auburn Manor in Chaska who provided tender and compassionate care to Gerry.

Children, Joseph Flannery and his wife, Catherine Ploetz, of New Hope, MN,
Julie Timmers and her husband, Allen, of Chaska, MN,
Mary Pat Jablinski of Young America, MN,
John Jablinksi of Cambridge, MN;
Gerald was preceded in death by his parents and sister.
