Geraldine Alice Satterlee Anglin, age 98, of Westerville, Ohio, formerly of Hutchinson passed away on July 13, 2017, at Mt. Carmel St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville, Ohio.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, July 22, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at the Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hutchinson with interment in Oakland Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 22, 2017, from 10:30 A.M. until the time of the service.
Obituary
Gerry (Dolly) was born January 30, 1919, in Dassel, Minnesota to Joseph Satterlee and Gerda Mattson Satterlee. She was one of nine children, and after her mother died, she raised her sibling’s, choosing to leave school in ninth grade to do so. She was confirmed in the Lake Jennie Covenant Church in Meeker County, Minnesota, at the age of 14.
In 1940, Gerry married Walter Anglin in Minnesota. They made their home in Hutchinson where their two daughters were born, and later moving to North Dakota and settling in Ohio. She was a loving homemaker and was adored by her six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Westerville Methodist Church of the Messiah for 59 years.
Gerry passed away on July 13, 2017, at Mt. Carmel St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville, Ohio, at the age of 98 years. Blessed be her memory.
Gerry is survived by her:
Daughters Barbara Hardin of Westerville, OH, and Carolyn Myers of Severna Park, MD;
Grandchildren, Kathryn (Troy) Mounsey, Jennifer (Richard) Haller, Timothy Hardin, Nicole Myers, Jonathan (Emily) Hardin, and Chad Myers;
Great-Grandchildren, Megan (Caleb) Chapman, Callie Mounsey, Simon Haller, Donald Haller, Alice Hardin, Titus Hardin, Abraham Hardin and Boaz Hardin;
Sister, Delores Schulte of Seattle, WA;
Sisters-In-Law, Arlene Satterlee and Eunice Anglin;
Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.
Gerry was preceded in death by her Parents, Joseph and Gerda Satterlee; Husband, Walter Anglin.
