Gladys Hogan, age 87, of Hutchinson, Minnesota, passed away Tuesday, November 28th, 2017, at her home in Hutchinson.
Memorial Services will be Friday, December 1, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at the Dobratz-Hantge Chapel in Hutchinson. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be Thursday, November 30, 2017, from 4:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. and one hour prior to the service, All at the Dobratz-Hantge Chapel in Hutchinson.
Gladys L. Hogan was born on July 23, 1930, in Hutchinson, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Anton and Agnes (Stritesky) Tupa. Gladys was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth in 1945 at the Presbyterian Church in Silver Lake, Minnesota. She received her early education at Komensky School and was a graduate of the Hutchinson High School, Class of 1948.
On August 9, 1949, Gladys was united in marriage to Eugene Hogan at St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Hutchinson. This marriage was blessed with four children, Terry, Randy, Connie, and Tim. Gladys and Eugene resided in Hutchinson. They shared 49 years of marriage until Eugene passed away on February 22, 1999.
Gladys held various employment throughout the community. After retirement, she volunteered taking people to various appointments.
Gladys enjoyed cooking, playing card games at the Event Center in Hutchinson, playing bingo, and jigsaw puzzles. She also loved her cats. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends.
Gladys passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at her home in Hutchinson, at the age of 87 years.

Great-Grandchildren, Jenna Schweikert, Jackson Schwikert, Harrison Schwikert, Zoey Fischer, and Kendallyn Kalenberg;
Nieces, Nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
Gladys is preceded in death by her Parents, Anton and Agnes Tupa; and Husband, Eugene Hogan in 1999; and Siblings, George Tupa, Jerry Tupa, and Richard Tupa.
