My dear cousin, I will miss you so much. We didn’t get together very often, but I sure enjoyed the times we did, the phone calls, and Christmas greetings. My first and only vacations when a kid were to Katherine and Claude and your house. What a treat!the nights giggling together, but being “just” quiet enough to not get caught were fun for this “only child”. My family took vacations to your folk’s place too and my kids enjoyed all of you guys too. I believe it was the first time I met Dick and how he graciously served beverages to us at dinner. He really impressed me! Your parents, you and Dick, and your brother and sisters and their spouses always were so welcoming to us. I remember you telling Mary her little girl was SO cold her teeth were chattering. She was close to a newborn! I thought that was so funny. I’m so glad we got to visit last year on vacation

I had the pleasure of knowing Irene by cutting her hair for MANY years. I remember very well her working at Econofoods and when Dick was still alive. We shared a couple decades together.
I squeezed her in for her last haircut before Christmas. When she left that day, I knew it “was” the last appointment.
I will miss her dearly…
