Janice was baptized as an infant on February 21, 1937, and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth on April 2, 1950, at Grace Lutheran Church by Pastor L.W. Moench. She received her education through Country School and at Brownton High School in Brownton, Minnesota.

Our thoughts and Prayers are with you in the loss of your Mother, Grandmother & Great Grandmother, My wonderful memories of Janice are at the Stewart Hardware Store where Orville’s coffee gang was a treasure to Stewart. There wasn’t a time where either my Father or myself would go into the Hardware store and not come out laughing or with a smile on our faces as Janice would make our day with great conversations and caring about how our family was getting along in life. The memories of both her and Donnie sitting in the corner of the Stewart High School Gymnasium cheering on the teams are etched in all of our minds of the players that played the games. They will be both greatly missed by all of us. May God’s Peace be with you all!! Curt & Jackie Burns & Family

So sorry for your loss. She was always nice and friendly. A year ago in July, Paula, my mom (Diane), and I visited several relatives in Hutch, Stewart, and Brownton. When we stopped in at Stewart we got to see Janice, Donald, and Sherry. It was a short visit, but I think we all enjoyed it. We saw Doug in Brownton too. Hope to see you again soon!
