Service Information
Jeanette Marie Fauskee, age 94, of Hutchinson, passed away Friday, October 20, 2017, at Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson.
Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at 11:00 A.M. at Faith Lutheran Church in Hutchinson, with interment in Oakland Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Monday, October 23, 2017, from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hutchinson, and on Tuesday at the funeral home from 8:00 – 9:00 A.M. Visitation will continue Tuesday at Faith Lutheran Church for one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M.
Obituary
Jeanette Marie Fauskee was born July 16, 1923, in Belgrade, Minnesota, the daughter of Talk and Edith (Kukuk) Raveling. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Belgrade.
Jeanette grew up in the Belgrade area and graduated with the Class of 1941 from the Belgrade High School. She continued her education, and graduated from the Glenwood Teachers College. Jeanette taught in the Belgrade Brooten area for seven years.
On April 17, 1948, Jeanette was united in marriage to Kenneth Fauskee. Their marriage was blessed with two children, Bruce and Cheryl. They made their home on the Fauskee farm north of Belgrade. In 1961, the family moved to Hutchinson where Jeanette was employed at Our Own Hardware, S & L, and 3M. They had shared 43 years of marriage when Kenneth passed away on August 25, 1991.
Jeanette was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church in Hutchinson. She enjoyed teaching, reading, quilting, and doing volunteer work. She also loved gardening, raising both flowers and vegetables. Jeanette volunteered at the Thrift shop and Hospital gift shop. She loved her family and friends. She often spoke of how grateful she was to have such great brothers and sisters. She was loved by many and seemed to always have company.
On Friday, October 20, 2017, Jeanette passed away at the Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson, having reached the age of 94 years. Blessed be her memory.

Son, Bruce Fauskee and his wife, Bonnie, of Powell, Wyoming;
Grandsons, Bret (Lisa) Fauskee and Bryce Fauskee;
Granddaughters, Sheila (Daniel) Herd and Sarah Nelson;
Great-Grandchildren, Lauren Nelson, Hudson Nelson, Adler Nelson, Cole Fauskee, and Carter Fauskee;
Brothers, Thomas (Pat) Raveling of Zimmerman, MN,
Richard (Lorraine) Raveling of Paynesville, MN;
Sisters, Lois Lovig of Rockford, MN,
Patricia Hartenstein of Wisconsin;
Sister-in-law, Ardyce Raveling of White Bear Lake, MN;
Many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, Talk and Edith Raveling; daughter, Cheryl Lohrenz; husband, Kenneth Fauskee; siblings: Michael Raveling, Edward (Elsie) Raveling, Raphael (Diane) Raveling, Marie Raveling, Robert Raveling, Muriel Raveling; and by her brothers-in-law, Arvid Lovig and Wally Hartenstein.
