What a beautiful picture of your Mom. When I think of Mrs. Kostol, I think of her quick wit and her great laugh. She was always a pleasure to be around. My heart is saddened for you all as you grieve this loss but her memories will live on in and through you.

So sorry to hear of Janelle’s passing. Always enjoyed coming to the farm and visiting. Was always nice to hear Janelle play the piano and girls sing. Had many hilarious laughs and enjoyed working with Janelle at Western Union. I remember Janelle came to work one day, and she informed Miss Carlson, Supervisor, she needed time to go to get her glasses fixed. Miss Carlson was a little upset it was about 2 weeks before Christmas we were very busy taking orders from florists to other cities. Leave it to Miss Carlson to try and keep us all in line. I will miss out conversations. God Bless. Lois Notaro

When I was young on a nearby farm, Jenelle and Burt would come to parties and visit with my parents. I had the youthful gall to ask her how old she was. She asked me to guess. I said 21. She roared with laughter then and more recently during our chats. We kept up all these years. Where I live there is a chain clothing store, Forever 21. Well, I see by the photo that she is still “21”. I will miss our LONG phone chats. What a wonderful, talented lady.

Dear Patrice, my Mom told me of your Mom’s passing. You have my sincere sympathy. I remember her as being very kind and warm when I visited you home way back in high school! She made me feel very welcome. Looking at her picture, you surely resemble her, a lovely lady!
