Service Information
Jeremy Robert Thiel, age 34, of Hutchinson (formerly of Lester Prairie), Minnesota, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2016, at the Marie Steiner Kelting Hospice House in Chaska, Minnesota.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 27, 2016, at 11:00 A.M., at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lester Prairie, with interment in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, August 26, from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M., at Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hutchinson and will continue two hours prior to the service at the church in Lester Prairie.
Obituary
Jeremy Robert Thiel was born on July 16, 1982, in Glencoe, Minnesota. He was the son of Charles “Chuck” Thiel and Lawrie (Halligan) Truman. Jeremy was baptized on the day he was born and later confirmed in his faith as a youth, both at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lester Prairie, Minnesota. He received his education in Lester Prairie and was a graduate of the Lester Prairie High School Class of 2000.
On August 23, 2008, Jeremy was united in marriage to Dena Hass at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Hutchinson. Jeremy and Dena resided in Hutchinson, Minnesota. They shared almost 8 years of marriage.
Jeremy held employment as a sales associate at Walmart in Hutchinson. He was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lester Prairie.
Jeremy enjoyed gaming, and watching movies. He was an avid sports fan; his favorite teams were the Minnesota Vikings, Minnesota Twins and the Minnesota Wild. Jeremy also liked to go camping, on bike rides and fishing. He loved spending time with his wife, friends and family.
Jeremy passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2016, at the Marie Steiner Kelting Hospice House in Chaska, Minnesota at the age of 34 years.
He will be dearly missed.

Nephews, Jacob Thiel, Noah Thiel and Benjamin Thiel;
Many other relatives and friends;
Jeremy is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Albert and Erna Thiel, Robert and Barbara Halligan; Grandparents-In-Law, Duane and Betty Hass, Edward and Johanna Reinholt; Dog, Zoey.
