Jon Hombach, age 72, of Stewart, Minnesota, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Prairie Senior Cottages in Hutchinson, Minnesota.
Obituary
Jon Edward Hombach was born on February 29, 1952, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He was the son of William and Mary (Costello) Hombach, but was raised by his mother and step-father, Robert Knott. Jon was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in the catholic faith as a youth. He was a graduate of the Hutchinson High School Class of 1971. Jon furthered his education at Alexandria Technical College in Alexandria, Minnesota.
On March 10, 1973, Jon was united in marriage to Vikki Oleson at Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Hutchinson, Minnesota. This marriage was blessed with one daughter, Kristen. Jon and Vikki resided in Hutchinson before making their home in Stewart, Minnesota. They shared 51 years of marriage.
Jon was employed at Hutchinson Utilities. He retired in 2012.
Jon enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, snowmobiling, and target shooting. He especially cherished time spent with his family and friends.
Jon passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Prairie Senior Cottages in Hutchinson, at the age of 72 years.

Jon is preceded in death by his Father, William Hombach; Mother, Mary (Robert) Knott; Siblings, Bill Hombach, Jeffery Knott, Natalie Barrie, Wally Hombach.
