Chris, Kim, Colden, and Carson Hutton says
22 years ago we moved in across the street from this amazing woman. She treated Kim and I like her own children and Colden and Carson like her grandchildren. She was always there with a smile and some words to light up your day, a plate full of cookies or to lend a helping hand. As we raised our family in this neighborhood you couldn’t have asked for a better neighbor. The Hutchinson community and us were privileged that Spencer, Lisa and Beth shared her with us. She will be greatly missed by all.
Laurie Schafer says
Joyce was my kindergarten teacher and was such a wonderful influence on me. I’ll always remember her inventive art projects and joyously singing while playing the upright piano in the middle of the circle in our classroom. Joyce was also a close family friend; the whole Schafer family loved spending time with her.
