Service Information
Judy A. Martineau, age 74, of Hutchinson passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 9, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Brownton, with interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Superior Wisconsin at a later date.
Visitation will be held Sunday, January 8, 2017 from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. and from 8:00 to 9:00 A.M. Monday, January 9, 2017 at the Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel, and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
Obituary
Judith “Judy” Ann Martineau was born on February 20, 1942, in Superior, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of Harry and Clara (Lee) Jacobson. She received her education in Superior, Wisconsin and was a graduate of the Superior East High School Class of 1960. She furthered her education by attending Vocational School in Superior for one year.
On December 7, 1963, Judy was united in marriage to Edward Marineau in Pine City, Minnesota. This marriage was blessed with two children, Holly and Thea. Judy and Edward moved to Brownton, Minnesota in 1970, and later moved to Hutchinson. Judy and Edward shared 35 years of marriage until Edward passed away on August 1, 1998.
Judy was a loving homemaker and mother. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Brownton.
Judy enjoyed working on jigsaw puzzles, and crossword puzzles. She liked watching television; her favorite programs were Soap Operas. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends.
Judy passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis Minnesota, at the age of 74 years.
