Judy A. Farrell, age 61, of Fairfax passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025, at the Sleepy Eye Medical Center in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, February 12, 2025, 11:00 A.M. at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Fairfax with interment in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the Mass on Wednesday, ALL at church.
Memorials preferred for Judy’s cemetery marker.
Obituary
Judy Ann Farrell was born on October 28, 1963, in New Ulm, Minnesota. She was the daughter of John and Helen (Boehn) Farrell. Judy was baptized as an infant at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Franklin and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Fairfax. She received her education in Fairfax and was a graduate of the Fairfax High School Class of 1982.
Judy was a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Fairfax.
Judy was employed as a nursing assistant for the Fairfax Community Home, then was a home health care aid and a PCA, retiring in 2016. She enjoyed visiting with people, crafting, square dancing, country music, cooking, baking and going to garage sales. Judy cherished the time she spent with her friends and family. She loved her pets, Chance and Max.
When she needed assistance with her care, Judy became a resident of the Divine Providence Nursing Home in Sleepy Eye and passed away at the Sleepy Eye Medical Center on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at the age of 61 years. Blessed be her memory.
Judy is survived by her:
Friends, cousins, aunt, Margaret Salzer of CA; uncle, Jerry (Barb) Farrell of Burnsville, MN; Godchild, Adrian Herrera; and other family.
Judy was preceded in death by her Parents, John and Helen Farrell; Grandparents; Aunts; Uncles; Cousins; and Pets, Chance and Max.

I got to know Judy at Divine Providence where my mother (Gladys Feser) also resides. Judy had such a kind heart and beautiful smile. She will be missed. We are having a mass said at Divine for Judy.
