Judy C. Grimm, age 61, of Hector, Minnesota, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at the Wabasso Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Wabasso, Minnesota.

Private Family Service will be held.

Obituary

Judy Cathrine Grimm was born on July 21, 1961, in Glencoe, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Jerome and Viola (Rettmann) Renner. Judy was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Fernando Township, Minnesota. She received her education in Stewart, Minnesota, and was a graduate of the Stewart High School Class of 1980.

On June 8, 1985, Judy was united in marriage to William “Bill” Grimm at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church. This marriage was blessed with three daughters, Sondra, Tiffany, and Belinda. Judy and Bill later divorced.

Judy was employed at the United States Department of Agriculture and later with Schweiss Manufacturing Inc.

Judy enjoyed being outdoors, especially in the spring and summer when she could garden, plant flowers and ride horses. She was a talented painter and made beautiful dried floral arrangements. Judy also liked reading, crocheting, canning, and her cats. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Judy passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at the Wabasso Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Wabasso, Minnesota, at the age of 61 years.

Judy is survived by her:
Daughters, Sondra Winspear and her husband, Brock of Mesa, AZ,
Tiffany Grimm and her husband, Garrett Egge of Chaska, MN,
Belinda Grimm of Minneapolis, MN;
Mother, Viola Renner of Hutchinson, MN;
Sister, Julie Schweiss and her husband, Mike of Fairfax, MN;
Brother, Keith Renner of Stewart, MN;
Many other relatives and friends.

Judy is preceded in death by her Father, Jerome Renner; Brother, Mark Renner.

    Deepest Sympathies! I have such fond memories growing up “just across the field” from you girls! We spend many hours playing and biking back and forth on that field road. Judy always had a kind, gentle spirit and will certainly be welcomed into heaven!
