Karlo R. Schultz

Obituary

Karlo Ralph was born on May 12, 1956, in Gaylord, Minnesota. He was the son of Ralph and Della (Rickert) Schultz. Karlo was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in his faith as a youth, both at Grace Lutheran Church in Brownton. He received his education in Stewart, Minnesota, and was a graduate of the Stewart High School Class of 1974. Karlo furthered his education at Ridgewater College in Hutchinson, Minnesota, where he received a degree in Non-Destructive Testing.

On June 17, 1978, Karlo was united in marriage to Betty Meyers at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buffalo Lake, Minnesota. This marriage was blessed with one daughter, Kristi.

Karlo was employed as a Nondestructive Testing Technologist for the Army Department of Defense at the Rock Island, Illinois Arsenal, as well as the Airline Industry. He also completed many various quality control jobs.

Karlo enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening vegetables and flowers. He especially enjoyed spending time at the lake teaching his granddaughter, Delilah to fish and taking her for rides on the side-by-side.

Karlo passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Mayo Clinic Hospital, Methodist Campus in Rochester, Minnesota, at the age of 67 years.

Many other relatives and friends.

Karlo is preceded in death by his Parents, Ralph and Della Schultz; Father-in-law, Milan Meyers; Sister-in-law, Veronica Meyers.
