Kenneth “Casey” Callier, age 80, of Fairfax passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at his home in Fairfax.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, April 15, 2021, 11:00 A.M. at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Fairfax with interment in Saint Willibrord Catholic Cemetery in Gibbon.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
Masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
Obituary
Kenneth “Casey” Charles Callier was born on August 2, 1940, in Stewart, Minnesota. He was the son of Francis and Grace (Rosenow) Callier. Casey was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in his faith as a youth, both at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Stewart. He received his education in education in Stewart and was a graduate of the Stewart High School Class of 1958.
On December 1, 1961, Casey entered active military service and served in the United States Navy. He was Honorably Discharged on January 19, 1962.
On February 23, 1963, Casey was united in marriage to Ruth Biebl at St. Willibrords Catholic Church in Gibbon. After their marriage, the couple resided in Stewart, Minneapolis and in 2013 he moved to Fairfax. They were blessed with one daughter, Nancy. Casey was employed with local farmers. Casey and Ruth shared 33 years of marriage when Ruth passed away on December 11, 1996.
Casey was a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Fairfax, the Eagle’s Club and the Fairfax Gun Club.
Casey enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding horses, reading and having coffee with his friends. He cherished the time he spent with his daughter and grandson.
Casey passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2020, at his home in Fairfax at the age of 80 years. Blessed by his memory.
Casey is survived by his:
Daughter, Nancy Ray and her husband, Brian of Minneapolis, MN;
Grandson, Kevin Steven Ray and his fiancé, Haley;
Siblings, June Dawson and her friend, Chuck of Hutchinson, MN, Patricia (Robert) Flemming of Hutchinson, MN, Thomas (Sue) Callier of Hutchinson, MN, Katherine Holt of Homosasa, FL, Linda (Jerry) Callier of Hutchinson, MN, Wendy Callier of Hutchinson, MN, and Mary Callier and her friend, Bob of Rochester, MN;
Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Casey was preceded in death by his Parents, Francis and Grace Callier; Wife, Ruth Callier.

I’m devastated on his passing. A beautiful soul. He has brought so much happiness and love to every soul that he touches. The sweetest man. I have cherished his many years of wisdom, support and the pure love he gave always. I will miss our regular conversations. I am very greatful for having such incredible Grandpa like him in my life. The absolute best. I will never forget him and all the special memories we shared, that will forever be in my heart. I will miss him dearly. My guardian angel, I Love You Always! RIP?
