Obituary
Kenneth “Kenny” Ralph Ruble was born on March 31, 1970, in Shakopee, Minnesota. He was the son of Terrol “Terry” Ruble and Susan (Gidley) Remer. Kenny was baptized as an infant at Nativity of Mary Church in Bloomington, Minnesota, and later was confirmed in his faith. He received his education in Glencoe, Minnesota, graduating with the Glencoe High School Class of 1988.
Kenny made his home in Glencoe, Minnesota. His life was blessed with two daughters, Corissa and Sasha. They always looked forward to spending the day at work with him and making many memories there together. He dearly enjoyed spending time with the two of them and especially his grandsons.
Kenny and his life partner, Lori, spent the last 30 years being friends and dating a few different times. They always continued to remain friends, even when apart, and it was this last time of reconnecting that the stars aligned for them. They custom built their home together and moved in November 2020. They enjoyed working together and going to the casino to play slot machines. Lori was Kenny’s rock from the beginning until the time God called him home.
Kenny owned and operated Happy Hour Inn in Glencoe, Minnesota; which he enjoyed very much. He loved seeing his “regular” customers and making small talk with everyone he encountered. If he wasn’t working, he loved tinkering in the garage and gambling; especially ripping tabs. Kenny really treasured the time spent with his family and friends. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, and was very kind to all.
Kenny passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021, at his home in Glencoe, Minnesota, at the age of 51 years and 1 day.
Blessed be his memory.
