Kenneth L. Geisler

Obituary

Kenneth Lee Geisler was born on June 4, 1947, in Milbank, South Dakota. He was the son of Lewis and Betty Jane (Johnson) Geisler. He received his education in Milbank, South Dakota.

On April 9, 1983, Kenneth was united in marriage to Phyllis Mertz in Litchfield, Minnesota. This marriage was blessed with one daughter, Terri. Kenneth and Phyllis resided in Litchfield, and later moved to Hutchinson. They shared 34 years of marriage.

Kenneth was employed at Jennie-O Foods in Litchfield for ten years. He was then employed at Hutchinson Technology Incorporated until his retirement in 2009.

Kenneth enjoyed gardening and planting flowers. He also enjoyed building, painting, and playing card games. Kenneth loved putting up Christmas lights on his house around the holidays. He cherished the time spent with his family, grandchildren and friends.

When Kenneth needed assistance with his daily care, he became a resident at Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson on January 18, 2018. He passed away there on Friday, March 16, 2018, at the age of 70 years.

Siblings, Larry Geisler of the Phillipines,
               Charles Geisler of Sleepy Eye, MN;
Many other relatives and friends.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his Parents, Lewis and Betty Geisler.
