Kurt Edward Dahlke, age 65, of Glencoe, Minnesota, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Suite Living Memory Care & Assisted Living of Shakopee in Shakopee, Minnesota.
Private Graveside Service will be held at a later date.
Obituary
Kurt Edward Dahlke was born on July 14, 1958, in Gaylord, Minnesota. He was the son of Victor E. and Luella (Wentzlaff) Dahlke. Kurt was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in his faith as a youth. He received his education at First Evangelical Lutheran School and was a graduate of the Glencoe High School with the class of 1976.
Kurt made his home in Glencoe and was self-employed as a Truck Driver. For a number of years, he also drove truck for Seneca Foods in Glencoe. He attended The River Church in Hutchinson, Minnesota, and enjoyed being a part of his Bible Study Group.
Kurt loved driving truck, spending time outdoors, and took great pride in keeping things “just the way he wanted” when it came to maintaining his trucks, cars, landscape, and home.
When he needed assistance with his care, Kurt became a resident of Suite Living Memory Care and Assisted Living of Shakopee and passed away there on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at the age of 65 years. Blessed be his memory.
Kurt is survived by his
Daughter, Angela Krienke and her husband, Nick, of Hutchinson, MN;
Grandchildren, Savana Krienke, Jenna Krienke, Kendra Krienke, Ashton Krienke;
Brothers, Virgil Dahlke and his wife, Bev of Garrison, MN, Dale Dahlke and his special friend, Barb of Ewing, NE, Keith Dahlke and his special friend, Robin of Glencoe, MN, Brian Dahlke and his special friend, Lori of St. Joseph, MN, Gregg Dahlke and his wife, Myrna of Glencoe, MN;
Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Kurt was preceded in death by his Parents, Victor and Luella Dahlke; Brother, Myron Dahlke; and Sister-in-law, Julie Dahlke.
