Larry Maus, age 61, of Hutchinson, passed away Friday, February 2, 2018, at his home in rural Hutchinson, Minnesota.
Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, 11:00 A.M. at Vineyard United Methodist Church in Hutchinson. Interment will be in the Oakland Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 5, 2018, from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hutchinson and will continue one hour before the service at the church.
Memorials are preferred.
Obituary
Larry Lloyd Maus was born on April 30, 1956, in Montevideo, Minnesota. He was the son of Elmer and Ardis (Sunderland) Maus. Larry was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in his faith as a youth in Methodist Faith. He received his education in Hutchinson, and was a graduate of the Hutchinson High School Class of 1974.
Larry was blessed with two children, Angie and Patrick. He resided in Hutchinson his entire life.
Larry worked as a carpenter and was self-employed in building and remodeling homes. He was a member of Vineyard Methodist Church in Hutchinson.
Larry enjoyed being outdoors, working on daily projects, four wheeler riding, horses and pheasant hunting. He treasured his grandchildren and enjoyed the time spent with them. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren and friends.
Larry was diagnosed with ALS in June of 2016. He passed away on Friday, February 2, 2018, at his home in rural Hutchinson, at the age of 61 years.

Larry is preceded in death by his Father, Elmer Maus.
