Leonard Buske, age 83, of Batesville, Arkansas, formerly of Hutchinson MN, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at Woodlawn Nursing Home in Batesville, Arkansas.
Graveside Service will be held Saturday, April 13, 2019, at 10:30 A.M. at St. Anastasia Catholic Cemetery in Hutchinson.
Military Honors will be provided by the Hutchinson Memorial Rifle Squad.
Obituary
Leonard Lewis Buske was born in Silver Lake, Minnesota, on April 17, 1935, the son of Lewis and Gertrude (Kulinski) Buske. He was baptized at St. Adalbert’s Catholic Church in Silver Lake, MN, on May 5, 1935. Leonard began school at St. Adalbert’s Catholic School in Silver Lake, MN. He later moved with his family to Hutchinson and attended school there.
Leonard was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in Korea. He was an American Legion member, a retired truck driver, an avid reader, and enjoyed the outdoors.
Leonard is survived by 4 children, all of whom reside in Arkansas: daughters Debra Lynn (Lannie) Martin, of Batesville; Vanessa Gale (Bobby) Goodwin of Tumbling Shoals; Faith Christine Brown of Batesville; son Jason Leonard Robert (Laurin) Buske of Locust Grove.
Grandchildren: Deana Lynn Martin (Zeke) Youngblood, Christina Paige (Brian) Busker, Jacob Robert Buske, and Kaitlyn Elisabeth Buske.
Great Grandchildren: Logan, Kylie, and Ava Youngblood.
Brothers: Duane (Rylda) Buske of Hutchinson; Dale (Ruth) Buske of Post Falls, Idaho; Loren (Judy) Buske of Hutchinson; Larry “Porky” (Pat) Buske of Hutchinson.
Sisters: Judy (Dave) Chirpich of Savage, MN; Charity (Jim) Bitzer of Brainerd, MN.
He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
