Lloyd Francis Weisenburger, age 86, of Lester Prairie, Minnesota, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021, in Lester Prairie, Minnesota.
Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 27, 2021, 11:00 A.M., at Bethel Lutheran Church in Lester Prairie, Minnesota with interment following at the Lester Prairie City Cemetery.
Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Friday, November 26, 2021, from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. and one hour prior to the service at Bethel Lutheran Church in Lester Prairie, Minnesota.
A time to share will be held Friday, November 26, 2021, 7:00 P.M., at Bethel Lutheran Church. The family would like to invite everyone to stay and share their most cherished memories they had with Lloyd throughout the years.

Obituary
Lloyd Francis Weisenburger was born on January 31, 1935, in Eureka, South Dakota. He was the son of Emanuel and Thusnelda (Klaudt) Weisenburger. Lloyd was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in his faith as a youth both at Eureka, SD. He received his GED and furthered his education at the University of North Dakota, receiving a degree in Accounting. Lloyd entered active military duty on November 20, 1953, serving his country as a Corporal for the United States Marines. He received an honorable discharge on November 20, 1956.
On June 28, 1959, Lloyd was united in marriage to Shirley Frank at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Wishek, North Dakota. After their marriage, the couple resided in Grand Forks, ND, Le Sueur, Glencoe, and Lester Prairie, MN. They were blessed with five children, Bryon, Brenda, Lori, Jodi, and Jonathan. Lloyd and Shirley shared 62 years of marriage.
Lloyd was employed at Green Giant Company, Farmer’s State Bank, Owner of Lester Prairie Cement Products and Prairie Hydraulics. After retirement, Lloyd worked at Shadowbrooke Golf Course.
Lloyd was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Lester Prairie. He was an active member of the church council. Lloyd was also a member of the Lester Prairie American Legion Post #463. He was an active community member serving on the school board and city council and was also a member of the Lester Prairie Lions Club and the Lester Prairie Jaycees.
Lloyd enjoyed woodworking, reading, and traveling across the United States, cards, helping wherever needed and cherished his time spent with family.
Lloyd passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021, at the age of 86 years old. Blessed be his memory.

Grandchildren, Nathan Weisenburger and his wife, Lindsey, Beth Sawatzke and her husband, Joe, Nicole Weisenburger and her significant other, Neil Kleve, Sydney Foss, Jackson Foss, Julianna Morrow, Katharine Morrow, Grayson Weisenburger,
Ava Weisenburger;
Great-Grandchildren, Lachlynn and Lennon Sawatzke, Jameson Weisenburger;
Brother-in-law, Elmer Frank and his wife, Mary Ann;

Lloyd is preceded in death by his Parents, Emanuel and Thusnelda Weisenburger; Father and Mother-in-law, Franz & Anna Frank; Siblings, Nathaniel Weisenburger and his wife, Elsie, Lillian Fritz and her husband Morris, Louise Dockter and her husband, Christ, Ted Weisenburger, Ruth Tesky and her husband, Theophil, Eugene Weisenburger and his wife, Agnes, Leona Metzger and her husband, Milbert, Gladys Geyer and her husband, Elmer; Brothers-in-law, Clem Fowler and Bob Harter.
