LeRoy Kiecker says
Grandma was truly a great lady with great faith. I’ll never forget the long conversations about religion and education which she had passion for both. She was a teacher, a choir director, an organist, a cook, a babysitter….so many things!! I remember the night when Gary and I were wrestling in the house and I hit my head on an old metal table. Mom and Dad weren’t home and we had instructions to call Grandma if we needed help….I think we freaked her out a little…there was so much blood! Still have the scar…. 🙂
Rest in Peace, Grandma…you never were a “step-grandmother” to us…

I have so many memories of Lois, I don’t know where to begin. She taught me piano for many years, always reminding me to keep my hands
up and back straight. Her hot lunch meals during grade school were always made with love. In fact, I think her mashed potatoes and hamburger gravy is still my favorite! She also directed and sang tenor in the choir with my mom. I have been a church organist for many years, and every time Lois was in the congregation she was always one of my biggest fans. Until we meet again…
My sympathies to all of her family.
