Lois Mary Gilberts

Obituary

Lois Mary Gilberts was born September 16, 1953, in Hutchinson, Minnesota, the daughter of Wyvil and Mary (McDonald) Hoff. She was baptized as an infant at the Greenleaf Church, and was confirmed in her faith there as a youth. Lois graduated from the Hutchinson High School with the Class of 1972.

On October 14, 1972, Lois was united in marriage to Gary Gilberts at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bird Island. They made their home in Hector, and were blessed with two sons, Jason and Chad. Lois was employed by CSI as a home assembler. She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Hector.

Lois enjoyed quilting and sewing. She tended to her flower beds, and enjoyed the time spent gardening.

On Wednesday evening, April 27, 2016, Lois passed away suddenly at home, having reached the age of 62. Blessed be her memory.

Lois is survived by her:

Husband, Gary Gilberts, of Hector;
Sons:    Jason Gilberts and his wife, Rhonda, of Willmar, and
             Chad Gilberts and his wife, Tiffany, of Grand Forks, North Dakota;
Grandchildren: Sabrina and Codie Gilberts of Willmar, and
                             Skyler and Colton Gilberts of Grand Forks;
Sisters:  Theresa Nolte of Haupton, Iowa, and
                 Paulette Mills and her husband Darcie “Darc” of Eden Valley;
Other relatives, and friends.

Lois was preceded in death by her Parents, Mary and Wyvil Hoff.
