Lorene Hanson

Obituary

Lorene Kay (Anderson) Hanson was born on July 3, 1961, in New Ulm, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Elmer and Ioda (Grunke) Anderson. Lorene was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth. She received her education at Fairfax Public School.

On October 11, 1980, Lorene was united in marriage to Gary Hanson at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Fairfax. After their marriage, the couple resided in Fairfax. Lorene helped Gary with the seed business. Lorene and Gary were blessed with two children. They shared 36 years of marriage.

Lorene was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fairfax.   

Lorene enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her three grandchildren.

Lorene passed away on May 14, 2017, at her home in Fairfax at the age of 55 years. Blessed be her memory.

Step-Father, Earl Peterson of Fairfax, MN;
Father-In-Law, Everett Hanson of Fairfax, MN;
Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.

Lorene was preceded in death by her Father, Elmer Anderson; Mother, Ioda Peterson; Brother, Jim Anderson; Mother-In-Law, Arlyn Hanson.
