Emma Wendlandt (Soucek) says
I worked with Lorraine in the kitchen at Emmanuel Home for a few years. Not everyone got along with her because at work she always meant business. But I always enjoyed her and we got along pretty well. I would run into her every so often in town and she would always visit for a few minutes and ask how I was doing. I learned a lot from working with her and will miss her.
