Obituary

Lorraine Alvina (Lindemeier) Exsted Murch was born on May 27, 1926, in Green Isle, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Fred and Alvina (Neuhaus) Lindemeier. Lorraine was baptized as an infant on June 13, 1926, by Rev. Carl Reuter at Green Isle Lutheran Church in Green Isle, Minnesota, and later confirmed in her faith as a youth on April 6, 1941, by Rev. Alf. R. Streufert at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Glencoe, Minnesota. She received her education at a country school thru the 8th grade.

On November 25, 1945, Lorraine was united in marriage to Raymond Alvin Exsted by Rev. Alf. Streufert at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Glencoe, Minnesota. Lorraine and Raymond made their home in Glencoe, Minnesota. Their marriage was blessed with six sons, Robert, Richard, Randall, Dale, Douglas and Dean. Lorraine and Raymond shared over 35 years of marriage, until Raymond passed away on October 29, 1981. On September 20, 1997, Lorraine was married to Donald Joseph Murch by Rev. Vance Becker at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Glencoe, Minnesota. Lorraine and Donald made their home in Glencoe, Minnesota. They shared over 14 years of marriage, until Donald passed away on July 18, 2012.

In addition to being a loving wife, mother and homemaker, Lorraine worked at Fingerhut, Telex and Glencoe Public Schools. She was a member at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Glencoe, where she was a member of the LWML.

Lorraine enjoyed watching her sons in sporting events, bowling, playing cards and family get togethers. She loved the time spent with her family and friends.

Lorraine passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at Glencoe Regional Health Services in Glencoe, Minnesota, at the age of 92 years, 5 months and 18 days.

7 Grandchildren;
13 Great Grandchildren;
Nephews, Nieces, Other relatives and many friends.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her Parents, Fred and Alvina Lindemeier; Husbands, Raymond Exsted, Donald Murch; Son, Robert Exsted; Sister, Hilda Schauer; Brother, Harold Lindemeier.
