Lucille Bauer, age 81, of Winthrop passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at Oak Terrace Health Care Center in Gaylord.
Funeral Service will be Friday, May 6, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at Peace Lutheran Church in Winthrop with interment in the Winthrop Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 5, 2016, from 5:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. and one hour prior to the service on Friday, all at the church.
Obituary
Lucille Henrietta (Borchert) Bauer was born on April 30, 1934, in Winthrop, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Ted and Emma (Draeger) Borchert. Lucille was baptized as an infant on May 27, 1934, and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth on April 30, 1948. She received her education in Winthrop and was a 1952 graduate of Winthrop High School.
On October 15, 1952, Lucille was united in marriage to Harry Bauer at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Winthrop. After their marriage, the couple farmed in Transit Township. This union was blessed with five children. Lucille and Harry shared 63 years of marriage.
Lucille was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson.
Lucille loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed camping, her flower gardens, and her bird house collection.
When she needed assistance with her daily care, Lucille became a resident of Oak Terrace Health Care Center on September 17, 2013, and passed away there on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at the age of 81 years. Blessed be her memory.

Great-Grandchildren, Allison and Taylor Bauer, Audrey, Marcus, and Marissa Bauer, Layton and Megan Hamre, Lane Wingen, Brayden Wojahn, Rowan Gran, Parker, Addison, Emmalyn, and Gwendolyn Huelskamp, and Hailey Valerius;

Lucille was preceded in death by her Parents, Ted and Emma Borchert; Son, Joel Bauer, Brother and Sister-In-Law, Luverne and Laverna Borchert; Parents-In-Law, Harry and Esther Bauer.
